Round Hill is a small, rural town in western Loudoun County, and many properties here sit on larger, more open lots surrounded by farmland and vineyard country. Open properties can have greater wind exposure than more sheltered lots, which is something our technicians account for when fitting and securing a cover.
Potomac Pool Service has provided professional pool care since 2003 and serves homeowners throughout Round Hill and western Loudoun County. Whether your property sits near the historic core of town or further out toward the vineyards, our winterization service in Round Hill is based on the actual conditions around your pool, not a generic countywide timeline.
When your property is open and rural, you need a team that pays attention to site conditions like wind exposure and debris. Here is what sets us apart:
We offer a complete range of professional winterization services in Round Hill, with each closing based on the specific conditions of your property.
Our closing service includes full equipment blow-out, plumbing protection, water balancing, and a properly fitted cover, with extra attention to securing the cover on open, wind-exposed lots.
We manage the full seasonal cycle for Round Hill pool owners. Fall Winterization protects your pool through the colder months, and Spring Opening restores everything for the season ahead.
Wind and open exposure can affect covers and exposed equipment over time. Our repair team diagnoses and resolves these issues as they come up.
If your pool’s coping or finish needs attention, our renovation team handles resurfacing, tile work, and deck restoration to prepare it for another season.
For homeowners looking to modernize their pool, we offer efficient pump and saltwater upgrades as a separate service from winterization.
We offer four package levels to match different needs:
Our most complete package. Includes Spring Opening 2, Fall Winterization 2, 15 weekly cleaning visits, and all chemicals required to keep your water balanced all season. One free Winter Inspection included.
Starting at $3,795
A collaborative approach where Potomac handles all water chemistry on a weekly basis and performs bi-weekly cleaning. Great for owners who enjoy light involvement.
Starting at $3,475
Our introductory package. We handle pool care every other week while you manage the off weeks. An effective way to cut your maintenance workload in half.
Starting at $2,900
Covers your Spring Opening 2 and Fall Winterization, a common choice among Round Hill homeowners who manage summer care themselves but want winterization and preparation services in Round Hill handled by a team familiar with rural, open properties.
$1,340
A proper closing accounts for the specific conditions of your property. On open lots with little natural windbreak, our technicians secure covers with extra attention to wind, and we confirm every drain point and valve is fully cleared before completing the closing. Properties near working farmland or vineyard country can also see more debris around the pool area, which we factor in when fitting the cover.
Quality residential winterization services in Round Hill should come with clear, upfront pricing, regardless of how rural or remote your property is. Each package lists a defined starting cost, and nothing extra gets added once the crew arrives. Homeowners who just need a standalone closing can book individual winterization service without a full-season commitment.
We work directly with Round Hill homeowners on rural and farm-adjacent property pools throughout western Loudoun County. That focus keeps our full attention on your pool rather than splitting time across unrelated work. Technicians clean the site and walk you through the closing before they leave.
As local pool care experts, we also proudly serve the surrounding communities throughout western Loudoun County:
If you are unsure whether we serve your property near the vineyard corridor or closer to the mountain foothills, call (877) 327-1833 and we will confirm coverage right away.
Open lots with little natural windbreak need extra attention when securing the cover, since wind can loosen a poorly fitted one over the winter. Our technicians account for this on every closing rather than using the same setup for every property.
Most homeowners book their closing in October, ahead of the season’s first hard freeze. Rural properties can sometimes take a bit longer to close due to distance or property layout, so scheduling early in the month helps avoid a rushed visit.
We account for extra debris load from nearby farmland or vineyards when fitting your cover, and we check it more carefully during the closing to make sure it stays secure through the season.
Our Congressional package, covering Spring Opening and Fall Winterization only, starts at $1,340. Packages that include weekly season-long service start at $2,900. Individual winterization service without a package is also available.
Yes. Spring Opening is included in our Presidential and Vice Presidential packages, and it is available as a standalone service if you only book a fall closing with us.
We trust Potomac Pools with our comprehensive pool projects and with our summer weekly pool servicing. Melanie was very easy to work with and was extremely responsive throughout a big renovation project. It was definitely refreshing to hire a local family-owned business. We are extremely satisfied with the results, and the project was completed on time and on budget.
I used to do my own maintenance but decided to give Potomac a try a couple of years ago and have been absolutely delighted with the service ever since. They are professional, on top of things, do great work and have a wonderful team. They are certainly leading the industry in quality and service and keep my pool sparkling clean.
Excellent service, friendly staff, very fair price, and more." The technician showed up on time, worked efficiently, and when he was done, he made sure the area was cleaned up. He then stood with me and educated me about what I might need to do over the winter. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend this company.
